John Oliver, Martin Sheen present 'Last Week Tonight' doomsday video

Earlier this year, CNN’s Turner Doomsday Video—a video meant to be played on the news network when the end of the world came to pass—leaked. And, quite frankly, it was a bit depressing. So Last Week Tonight with John Oliver decided to make a better Doomsday Video, one that celebrates all of humanity’s technological achievements, ridiculous athletic accomplishments, and our love of blooper videos.

On last night’s edition of the HBO series, Oliver presented a new take on the end-of-times video, one that stars Martin Sheen highlighting everything from the dawn of mankind to the possible overrun of mankind by lions.
