Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen weigh in on the 'Full House' revival

Will Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen be joining the Full House revival? They’ll have to ask their TV dad.

In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, the sisters revealed that they were as surprised as the rest of us when onscreen uncle John Stamos announced the show’s return. “I’m shocked I haven’t heard from John,” said Mary-Kate.

“I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn’t even talk about it,” said Ashley.

The sisters have kept low profiles recently, but it sounds like they’re still in touch with their former costars—and they haven’t ruled out a return to the series that made them household names. “I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening,” said Mary-Kate, though her sister’s chosen advice-giver wins for nostalgia.

“I’m going to call [Saget] and get his perspective,” said Ashley.

Regardless of the sisters’ decision, at least we have our proof: No one can resist a Danny Tanner “dad talk.”
