MTV’s Finding Carter has been picked up for 12 more episodes set to premiere later this year. And Alex Saxon says they could not have done it without you.

Saxon, who plays Max on the show, was the one to break the network’s news on YouTube, thanking the fans for their support of the series. “We’re really excited to start sharing more of the story with you,” Saxon said.

The series centers around Carter Stevens (Kathryn Prescott), a teenager who gets the shocking news that she was abducted when she was 3, and must return to her biological family, who believed her to be gone for good. But while Carter attempts to start a new life with her real mom and dad, twin sister and younger brother, she will not forget the single mother who raised her and is sought by the police.

Finding Carter premiered in July 2014 and was renewed for a second season that premiered in March. The series stars also include Cynthia Watros, Anna Jacoby-Heron, Alexis Denisof and Zac Pullam.
