Honest Trailers tackles the ridiculous plot of Jupiter Ascending

The reaction to the Wachoskis’ latest film Jupiter Ascending was less than ideal. EW’s Joe McGovern called it “another incoherent sci-fi spectacle” and other critical reactions were similarly unkind—or downright harsh.

So when Honest Trailers decided to approach the film as its latest subject, there was one clear and present way to reveal the film’s insanity: simply repeat the actual plot of Jupiter Ascending.

And so the majority of Honest Trailers’ latest work only has to break down the film’s confusing and preposterous plot points to poke fun at the story of Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) and the dog/human hybrid Caine Wise (Channing Tatum).

If that weren’t enough, Honest Trailers makes the case that Jupiter Ascending may be grounds for revoking Eddie Redmayne’s Oscar.
