So much for power couple Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann joining forces on a new movie. The two have dropped out of Bad Moms due to a timing issue, EW has confirmed. Deadline first reported their departure.

“We’re grateful for everything that [Apatow] contributed and where he got us,” Mercer Media’s Bill Block said, who insisted the project is still “full steam ahead.” Block told EW that production probably won’t begin until August or September, and a next set of cast additions can be expected within two weeks. The original filming location was set for New York City, but Block says that could change.

Last month, Paramount picked up the U.S. distribution rights for the project that will be written and directed by Hangover scribes Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The title and plot were unknown until recently: Mann was reportedly going to play one of the titular Bad Moms who rebel against the more overbearing mothers at their kids’ school, via Deadline.
