AnnaLynne McCord joins Secrets and Lies season 2

90210 actress AnnaLynne McCord has joined the upcoming second season of ABC’s mystery drama Secrets and Lies in a recurring role, EW has confirmed.

The anthology series’ second season will star Michael Ealy as Eric Warner, whose wife’s death provides the mystery that Detective Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis) will investigate.

McCord has been cast as Melanie Warner, the “outspoken, slightly inappropriate” wife of Eric’s brother Patrick Warner (Charlie Barnett), according to Deadline. Terry O’Quinn will play Eric and Patrick’s “charming and lovable finance magnate” father, John.

Ryan Phillippe, who starred in the first season, will not return in season 2.
