Dancing With the Stars: Nick Carter joins season 21

It’s a boy band world and we’re just living in it. Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys is set to join the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars, and I, for one, welcome our boy band overlords.

Carter announced the news on his Twitter Wednesday morning, including a short montage of his best music video moments and making everybody high on nostalgia.

We can only hope that Carter’s turn on DWTS won’t interfere with the Syfy channel zombie movie he’s making with bandmate AJ McLean and ‘NSYNC’s Joey Fatone. Maybe the show will raise his profile enough that One Direction’s Niall Horan will cave to Carter’s pleas and join the flick!
