Melissa Rivers used her mother Joan Rivers’ Twitter account on Friday to share a touching tribute that marked the first anniversary of the comedienne and Fashion Police host’s death.

“Today marks one year since my mother has passed,” Melissa wrote. “This was a year of firsts: first holidays, first birthdays, first everything’s without mom, without grandma.”

“While it has been difficult,” she added, “I’ve been amazed by the outpouring of love and overwhelming kindness we’ve received from family, friends and people whose lives were touched by the woman they knew as Joan – a woman we all miss so very much.”

Melissa also remembered her mom during a special episode of E!’s Fashion Police that aired Thursday, showing clips of Joan with stars including Kevin Hart, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Sarah Silverman, the Kardashians, and Miss Piggy.

“Not only did I never know what was going to come out of my mother’s mouth, neither did the stars who were brave enough to sit in the hot seat,” Melissa Rivers said on Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan.
