Rosewood: Adrian Pasdar to guest-star

It seems like Adrian Pasdar is channeling the bad-guy qualities that helped define his Heroes character with the news that he’s set to guest-star on Rosewood as a doctor with decidedly questionable motives.

EW has learned exclusively that Pasdar will appear on the show’s fourth episode, slated to air on Oct. 14. Pasdar — who played Senator Nathan Petrelli on Heroes — has been tapped for the role of Dr. Derek Foster, whom Rosewood (Morris Chesnut) and Detective Villa (Jaine Lee Ortiz) suspect of killing two of his patients.

Since the death of his Heroes character during the hit NBC show’s fourth season, Pasdar has guest-starred and voiced characters on several superhero-themed shows, including ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Marvel’s Avengers Assemble on Disney XD.

Rosewood airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
