Jacob Tremblay to guest-star on Last Man on Earth

Jacob Tremblay is going to be the last kid on Earth.

The nine-year-old Room star will appear on a spring episode of The Last Man on Earth, Fox announced today. He plays a young Tandy (Will Forte), presumably in a flashback.

Tremblay, who claimed the Best Young Actor trophy at the Critics’ Choice Awards for his Room role last weekend, is also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Perfomance by a Male Actor. He will appear in the upcoming films The Book of Henry, Burn Your Maps, and Shut In.

Last Man on Earth aired its fall finale in December, leaving viewers with plenty of questions, some of which Forte tackled here.
