London Has Fallen: Gerard Butler screened Olympus Has Fallen sequel for troops during EW Instagram takeover

During his takeover of EW’s Instagram this week, Gerard Butler screened London Has Fallen for fans at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in San Diego County, California.

The actor snapped selfies with fans and shouted the Spartan chant from 300 with soldiers during the event. “Thanks for having me #CampPendleton,” he wrote. “Truly an unforgettable day.”

Butler reprises his role of Mike Banning for London Has Fallen, which sees terrorists attacking the city as the world’s leaders gather for the funeral of the British prime minister. Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, and Angela Bassett also return for the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen.

The film hits theaters on March 4.
