Though it rode in on a crest of ’90s nostalgia, Fuller House has not been met with the best reviews. EW TV critic Jeff Jensen gave the pilot of the Netflix reboot an F-grade, and the rest of the series a C-. He wasn’t the only one, either. So when John Stamos stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday night, the host had him read some of the more critical reviews of the show.

Stamos, who served as a producer on Fuller House in addition to his cameo appearances, was clearly bothered by reviews like the Washington Post‘s, which read, “there’s a point where nostalgia becomes more like necrophilia, and Fuller House immediately crosses that line.”

“Is ‘necrophilia’ if you get screwed by a dead magazine?” Stamos asked.

At the end of the day though, Stamos really has nothing to complain about, and he knows that.

“You know what, the fans love the show, and after only four or five days, Netflix said, ‘Let’s do a second season,’ so I thank the fans for that,” Stamos said.
