Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson played best friends on That ’70s Show, but the two are taking their relationship to a new level in Netflix’s upcoming The Ranch: The actors play brothers in the multi-camera comedy, which they’re executive producing alongside Two and a Half Men alums Don Reo and Jim Patterson.

As Kutcher previously told EW, however, that doesn’t mean they necessarily like each other. “Our relationship is contentious, but the history of Danny and my friendship bleeds into the characters,” Kutcher said. “They’re best friends, but they f—ing hate each other.”

Kutcher plays Colt, a 34-year-old football player who comes back home to help his brother and tough-talking dad (Sam Elliott) run the titular ranch. Chaos ensues: “Maybe I’m the good luck charm this family needs,” Colt confidently says in the trailer at one point — seconds before their barn catches on fire.
