Helen Mirren choosing to enter Tuesday’s The Late Show by kissing host Stephen Colbert was so instantly legendary that multiple people have already tried to emulate it. J.J. Abrams made a joking reference to it when he was on that same night, while Sally Field went for full-on kiss Wednesday night.

“I figured if Helen did it, why can’t I?” Field asked.

“You won’t get an argument from me,” Colbert said. “This job is getting better and better every day.”

Field was on to promote her new film Hello, My Name is Doris, in which she plays a 60-year-old woman (“Never mind how old you are, it doesn’t matter”) who finally comes out of her lifelong shell thanks to a crush on a younger man she works with (Max Greenfield). Colbert asked her whether it was a big deal for her to make out with the younger Greenfield in the film.

“A pair of lips is a pair of lips, huh?” Field said. “I’ve been kissing guys on screen for the last 53 years of my life, what’s the big deal?” Field said.
