Gigi Hadid wants to give her modeling chops a mighty morphin’ makeover. When news began trickling in that a Power Rangers reboot might be on the horizon back in 2014, the 20-year-old quickly hit social media to campaign for her role as the next pink power ranger.

“#GiForce!!!! It’s been announced that they’re starting to cast for a new Power Rangers movie.. Let’s get #GigiForPinkRanger trending,” she tweeted that June. The once Real Housewives star has since been spotted sporting a Pink Ranger beanie on multiple occasions, most recently just this morning.

Now, the owners of the Power Rangers franchise, Saban Entertainment, has chimed in on the prospect of Hadid joining their superteen squad. “Gigi represents everything a Power Ranger stands for — teamwork, strength, and friendship. We‘d love to have her as part of the Power Ranger family,” the company told EW in a statement.

Naomi Scott (The Martian, Terra Nova) has already been cast in the upcoming 2017 reboot, but perhaps there’s room for Hadid in another Rangers capacity.
