In February, Paul Simon announced plans to tour and release a new album named Stranger to Stranger in 2016. Now the famed performer has detailed the album and shared its first single, “Wristband.” Stranger to Stranger comes out June 3 and will be available in an 11-track standard edition or 16-track deluxe edition.

For his new album, Simon teamed up once again with longtime collaborator Roy Halee, who worked on Simon & Garfunkel classics like Bookends and Bridge Over Troubled Water, as well as Simon’s solo masterpiece Graceland.

“It’s about making music that sounds old and new at the same time; music with a sense of mystery,” Simon said in a press release. “Sound is the theme of this album as much as it’s about the subjects of the individual songs. If people get that, I’ll be pleased. The right song at the right time can live for generations. A beautiful sound, well that’s forever.”

Stranger to Stranger drops during Simon’s extensive late spring tour, which kicks off April 29 in New Orleans and wraps up June 30 in Queens. Simon’s most recent studio album was 2011’s So Beautiful or So What.
