Taylor Swift bored with Kanye West feud

Back in February when Taylor Swift picked up her second Album of the Year award at the Grammys, her acceptance speech seemed to be a dig at Kanye West, who had just released The Life of Pablo and its track “Famous” that included a line about how he made Swift famous.

The two have gone back and forth in the public arena — he most recently defended the line at a concert in Manilla — and in a new profile in Vogue, Swift explains her acceptance speech: “I guess what I wanted to call attention to in my speech at the Grammys was how it’s going to be difficult if you’re a woman who wants to achieve something in her life — no matter what.”

During her speech, she said, “There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work, and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, some day when you get where you’re going, you will look around and know it is you and the people who love you who put you there.”

Now, though it’s not clear when exactly Swift spoke to the magazine, she admits, “I think the world is so bored with the saga. I don’t want to add anything to it, because then there’s just more.”
