Garbage announce U.S. summer tour

Garbage are hitting the road this summer: The American-Scottish alternative band will be touring their upcoming Strange Little Birds this summer, they announced Monday.

The U.S. leg of the Strange Little Birds tour falls between previously announced European dates. By the time the North American concerts come around, Garbage’s new album — slated for a June 10 release — will have already dropped. The band released the album’s lead single, “Empty,” in April.
