Last Man on Earth finale: Phil drives Back to the Future DeLorean

Where is Mike?

That is the question we were left with at the end of season 2’s penultimate episode of The Last Man on Earth, and that is the question that will be addressed in the opening scene of the finale, titled “30 Years of Science Down the Tubes” (Sunday, 9:30 p.m. ET, Fox).

Yes, Phil’s brother (played by Jason Sudeikis) appears to have contracted the deadly virus that decimated the planet, and now he’s shed his bio-bubble and gone… somewhere. Phil (Will Forte) may have an idea where to find him, but first he’s going to have a little chat with his unborn child. And then he’s going to take a ride in a familiar car known for reaching speeds of 88 m.p.h. See for yourself in this scene from the finale.
