Ugly Betty: America Ferrera shares throwback photo from last day of filming

As the cast of Ugly Betty reunites at the ATX TV Festival, star America Ferrera shared a throwback photo to the last day of filming.

The snapshot shows the actress in character for “the very moment they called a ‘wrap’ on my run as Betty Suarez,” she wrote on Instagram. “So much gratitude for my years with Betty. She and I grew up together.” Earlier, Ferrera posted another image from the set of the cast’s “last day at Mode over 6 years ago.”

Ferrara reunited with her former costars Eric Mabius, Vanessa Williams, Becki Newton, Michael Urie, Ashley Jensen, Ana Ortiz, Tony Plana, Mark Indelicato, and Rebecca Romijn for a reunion panel at ATX hosted by EW. The cast posed for a tug-o-war photo with the actors of Superstore, Ferrera’s latest series, at the festival.

In an earlier statement, Ferrera remarked of her Ugly Betty cast, “They are truly my family and we can’t wait to celebrate together.”
