Kanye West deletes tweet after Famous video debut

Kanye West took a few notable risks during production of his recently released music video for “Famous” by including nude sculptures of Taylor Swift, Anna Wintour, Rihanna, Caitlyn Jenner, and Donald Trump, among others. And, according to a now-deleted tweet, he’s ready to face the potential consequences — or rather, he was ready to face the potential consequences.

“Can somebody sue me already #I’llwait,” the rapper posted to Twitter Saturday morning. By Sunday afternoon, the message had been deleted, though several users managed to screen-cap West’s statement.

A representative for George W. Bush, whose likeness also appears nude in the video, recently confirmed to EW the former president did not participate in the making of the “Famous” music video, while Jenner’s rep denied the 66-year-old had anything more to add about the clip’s release.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, the rapper claimed he was “very careful with shots that had [something] sexual to take them out,” while stressing the video is “not in support or anti any of [the people in the video]. It’s a comment on fame.”

The song previously came under fire for the “strong misogynistic message” of its lyrics, which also reference Swift. “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b—- famous,” West raps in the track. The pop star’s representatives claim the 26-year-old didn’t approve the phrase, while West and Kardashian maintain Swift’s camp was well aware of their inclusion in the song.
