Wayward Pines: Abbies attack harvesters in preview

The Abbies have started hunting — and this time, they’ve got a strategy. Though Jason (Tom Stevens) and Megan (Hope Davis) believe the creatures outside the fence to be mindless animals incapable of understanding human behavior, the Abbies have seemingly learned to use fire as a weapon, the same way CJ (Djimon Hounsou) had used flamethrowers against them.

In the exclusive clip above from Wednesday’s episode of Wayward Pines, Adam (Tim Griffin) spots the flames from the harvesters’ camp and warns the rest to get to safety, but it’s already too late. An Abbie attacks Theresa (Shannyn Sossamon) inside her tent, while CJ fires into the crowd. With so many Abbies around leaving people injured, Dr. Yedlin (Jason Patric) is about to run a hospital teeming with more patients than he’s ever expected.
