Michael Strahan may be an accomplished former football player, but Jimmy Fallon is a dedicated competitor skilled at absurd made-up games. This put them on relatively even footing for a giant tricycle race on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show.
To celebrate the beginning of the new school year, the two raced through a makeshift high school hallway, which included a fake classroom, lockers, and even a marching band. Strahan held the lead for most of the race, but when it came down to the final turn, Fallon was the one who burst through a finish line banner reading “Welcome Back Students!”
Strahan’s appearance on The Tonight Show came one day after his debut on Good Morning America as a regular anchor on Tuesday.
