Two beloved actors from Curb Your Enthusiasm will find their way back together once more — this time on ABC.

EW has learned exclusively that Susie Essman, who played the volatile, foul-mouthed wife of Jeff Garlin’s manager Jeff on Larry David’s seminal HBO comedy series, will reunite with her former on-screen husband on Garlin’s ABC sitcom, The Goldbergs.

Essman will guest star in the fourth season’s 11th episode, titled “Meatballs II.” She’ll play a new character on the show, but a real one: Edie Robb, a Hollywood power manager whom Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg grew up with and who was coincidentally just inducted into the Personal Managers Hall of Fame in 2016.

On the show, Edie’s described as a “ballsy” and outspoken talent manager who happens to run in “the same yenta circles” as smother-mother Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey). As a manager, Edie has “a sharp eye and an even sharper tongue” and is a key connection for anyone (especially in Jenkintown, Pa.) looking to break into the business. As such, she’ll get involved with Adam (Sean Giambrone).

Essman’s episode will likely air in January. The actress also recently guested on Broad City as Ilana Glazer’s mother, and appears on TruTV’s teacher sitcom, Those Who Can’t.

Meanwhile, The Goldbergs continues to air on ABC on Wednesdays at 8 p.m.. The Oct. 26 Halloween-themed episode, “Stefan King,” involves a horror story written by Adam and a very horrified Beverly who learns she might be its subject.
