Power Rangers: Zords roll out in new poster for movie reboot

Mastodon! Pterodactyl! Triceratops! Saber Tooth tiger! Tyrannosaurus!

The Power Rangers have called upon their zords in a new poster for the upcoming movie reboot, directed by Dean Israelite. Earlier one-sheets timed to the film’s panel at New York Comic Con offered our first glimpses of the giant fighter robots, but we get a frontal view of them here — even if Mastodon and Triceratops are mostly hidden in mist.

Dacre Montgomery plays Jason, the Red Ranger, piloting the Tyrannosaurus zord. Becky G as Yellow Ranger Trini pilots the Saber Tooth tiger. Naomi Scott gets the Pterodactyl as Pink Ranger Kimberly, while Blue Ranger Billy (RJ Cyler) gets the Triceratops and Black Ranger Zack (Ludi Lin) helms the Mastodon.

The first Power Rangers trailer teased a more serious tone than what fans were introduced to in the original TV series. Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) and Alpha 5 (voiced by Bill Hader) also get new looks, and Bryan Cranston rounds out the cast as the famous floating head, Zordon.
