Rectify series finale clip: Amantha, Daniel share a phone call

Amantha (Abigail Spencer) used to call herself her brother’s keeper. Now, that brother is off on his own in Nashville while she’s back home in Paulie trying to figure her life out — but that doesn’t mean she can’t be there for him still.

In an exclusive clip from Rectify‘s series finale, Daniel (Aden Young) gives his sister a call to get some support after saying goodbye to his love interest, Chloe (Caitlin FitzGerald). “Don’t get attached to people,” he says solemnly as he sits in Chloe’s now-empty loft. “There’s a downside.”

It’s not all sad, though: When Amantha asks if he’s going to be okay, he responds, “I’m going to try.” And for someone like Daniel, that’s a big deal.

Their phone call — which also includes some Holden-style playful banter — ends on a sweet, loving note. See it all go down above, and watch Rectify‘s 90-minute series finale when it airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on Sundance.
