The MTV Movie & TV Awards are switching things up with Vanessa Hudgens.

In lieu of an official 2020 edition of the annual awards ceremony, the network has announced the Princess Switch star will instead host a 90-minute MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time retrospective special on Sunday, Dec. 6.

The show will honor the biggest and best moments in film and TV from the 1980s through present day, with performers, honorees, and more to be announced soon.

In addition to recognizing scene-stealing actors, performances, and pop culture moments, Hudgens will guide fans through select categories and presentations from major stars in addition to including exclusive footage of highly anticipated 2021 releases.

The network is planning a more traditional return for the MTV Movie & TV Awards with a weekend event takeover next year, with details to be announced in the near future. Earlier this year, MTV successfully launched the 2020 MTV VMAs featuring pre-recorded performances and awards speeches from the likes of Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, and more.

MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time is set to air Sunday, Dec. 6 at 8:00 p.m. on MTV.
