Warning: This article contains spoilers for Chicago P.D. season 11, episode 3, "Safe Harbor."

Oops, they did it again.

From season 1, Chicago P.D. fans have shipped Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Adam Ruzek (Patrick Flueger). It's kind of impossible not to, what with their adorable banter and obvious feelings for each other. But over the seasons, their will-they-won't-they has proven to be a real rollercoaster.

Not only has the couple already lived through one failed engagement, but they also lost a child, and when Kim adopted Makayla (Ramona Edith Williams), Adam once again suggested marriage. But the second time, Kim said no. However, that didn't stop the couple from becoming great co-parents, sharing a home, and having the occasional romantic moment.

But as season 11 kicked off, it was clear something was different. Could these two finally have figured things out? It's looking good, because three episodes into the new season, Adam once again pulled out the engagement ring. It wasn't the big moment he planned it to be — he literally grabbed the ring out of his nightstand — but when Kim finished working a difficult case and asked him to promise that he'd always fight for them, he couldn't pass up the opportunity to assure her that he would.

As she put it when he slid the ring on her finger, hopefully the third time is the charm.

Chicago P.D. airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
