Courteney Cox riffs on L.A. flooding with underwater video

Monica Geller would not have been okay with all this water in her apartment.

As Los Angeles battled flash floods, Courteney Cox dove into the turmoil with a comedic twist. The Friends and Shining Vale star shared a playful video on Instagram, showcasing her daily routines amidst rising waters in her seemingly submerged apartment.

Set to the upbeat tune of "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head," Cox humorously navigates tasks like picking up her dog and playing the piano.

"Finally getting used to the LA rain," Cox wrote alongside the video as she tours her home appearing to already be soaked. At one point she pours herself a "delicious" glass of brownish-colored water as she makes the most of a watery situation.

Cox probably isn't into her home being flooded, but she's all about hydration. “I just believe in hydration,” she shared with Glamour. “So if that’s called flooding, or slugging, or slagging, I do it.”

Representatives for Cox did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment about how she pulled off the video, but the effect seems similar to the Lidar AR Filter app, which can superimpose the visual of water onto an existing video.

Earlier this week, Cox also used "all the rain that's dumping on L.A." as an excuse to post a "photo dump" to Instagram — including a reunion shot of her and former Friends costar Lisa Kudrow.
