'S--- cruise' with 'raw sewage' terrorizes Meghan McCain's peace: 'It's my hell'

The Princess of Arizona swore off cruises after observing a cruise that had a "problem with the sewage systems."

Meghan McCain likes: her pet cactus, presiding over the state of Arizona as its unofficial princess, and Chuck E. Cheese as a soothing balm in the wake of potential terrorism. She dislikes: Jon Stewart when he's "woke," The View, Kamala Harris, and, apparently, the haunting thought of drowning in human waste at sea aboard a 's--- cruise.'

The 39-year-old political commentator, former View cohost, and daughter of the late John McCain recently launched her new YouTube show Citizen McCain, and used Wednesday's episode to tell the world she's still tormented by the thought of setting sail aboard the Carnival Triumph, the ill-fated cruise liner that made headlines for its onslaught of overflowing sewage in 2013.

"I am so not for hire for that at all. I would never do that. I am not interested at all. I hate cruises. I'm really scarred from that s--- cruise," McCain said after discussing her politically inclined friends who are paid to speak about politics on ocean liners.

McCain went on to confront the harsh realities of the ship. "There was some kind of problem with the sewage systems," she said, with fear in her voice. "People had to sleep on the deck and were given cheese sandwiches, and there was raw sewage everywhere on the cruise. Again, it's my hell, if I died and went to hell, that's what it would look like. I remember specifically on that s--- cruise."

Also on McCain's recent rolodex of harrowing ordeals: Bradley Cooper's Maestro, the Oscar-nominated Leonard Bernstein biopic that bothered her so much that she fired off an incendiary tweet slamming the film at 7:51 a.m. two days after Christmas in December 2023.

"Watched Maestro last night and….I could barely get through it. I’m frustrated I wasted what little free time I have open at night (with 2 young kids) watching it," the conservative pundit said at the time. "Why are so many Oscar buzz movies like this and so disappointing? Who are these movies for?"
