The Survivor 46 contestants each explain why they will win the season

But only one of them is right.

The cast of Survivor 46 have been officially unveiled. But while the season will kick off Feb. 28 on CBS, why are they even bothering to play? After all, Liz Wilcox already has the game won. How do we know? She told us!

Two days before filming began on the season, Liz told EW out in Fiji that “I will win Survivor 46 because I'm the luckiest person I have ever met. I just know when I get on the island those opportunities are going to come my way and I'm going to make it to final Tribal Council and carry home that million-dollar check.”

You heard the woman! Pack up the cameras. Round up all the immunity idols and advantages hidden around camp. Fold up Jeff Probst’s island shirts. No need to go through a 26-day charade, as it seems Liz has this thing in the bag due to her incredibly lucky nature.

There’s only one problem: Liz is but one of 18 different people who told us they would win this season before it even began. People like Jess Chong, who explained that “I will win Survivor 46 because I will disarm everyone with how silly I am while taking down my [enemies] one by one.”

See, that’s already a tough call between Jess and Liz. On one hand, luck does play a huge role in Survivor. Ending up on the wrong end of a tribe swap or a wacky advantage can end the best player’s chances, while being on the right side can propel someone to the very end. On the other hand, silliness should never be underestimated. Have you ever heard of someone named Fabio?

But hold on… maybe neither of them are winning, because Tiffany Nicole Ervin says the title of Sole Survivor is hers to lose. After all, Tiffany has the power of art on her side! “I'm going to win Survivor 46 because I am going to treat this game like it's my canvas,” says the Jersey girl. “I'm going to come at it with an artistic approach and I'm about to make this game my masterpiece.”

I mean, that sounds pretty good too. Of course, all three of them can’t win… unless Probst is ready to unleash the most controversial twist in Survivor history that has nothing to do with an hourglass.

So who will win Survivor 46? Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until the show airs to answer that question, but you don’t have to wait to see the entire cast making their pitch for why each of them will be the last person standing. Check out the video below to see all 18 players explaining why they have what it takes to go all the way. Whom do you believe, and who is chomping down on phony baloney?  Watch, judge, and then see how your predictions hold up when Survivor 46 premieres Feb 28 on CBS.
