Call it the Errors Tour: Taylor Swift's heel breaks on stage, forcing her to walk around like Barbie

Call it the Errors Tour: Taylor Swift's heeled Christian Louboutin boots broke on stage at her Eras Tour stop in Rio de Janeiro Monday night, forcing her to walk like a Barbie for part of the evening.

The hilarious moment, like the rest of the Eras Tour highlights so far, was mercifully caught on camera. In the clip, below, Swift gives her usual introduction to the tour before singing "Lover," but can clearly be seen doing her best Margot Robbie Barbie impersonation while doing so (except this Barbie has 12 Grammys.)

It's unclear exactly how the heel broke, but it appears to be completely missing during the performance of "The Man" earlier in the Lover set, as evidenced by the photo below, where the classic Louboutin red sole is clearly missing from the shoe.

Another video seems to show Swift messing with the heel and possibly removing it on stage. Here's to hoping this new goof is a shoe-in for the Eras Tour concert film's blooper reel when it heads to streaming in the coming months.

Like other Eras Tour mishaps, wardrobe-related or otherwise, Swift handled it like a pro — the show must go on, after all. And it looks like one Swiftie managed to leave with the broken-off heel as shown in an image shared by a fan on social media.

Monday night's show in Rio — the third in the city — was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was postponed due to safety concerns for Swift, her team, and concertgoers due to extreme temperatures in the Brazilian city. The move to postpone also followed the death of a 23-year-old fan identified as Ana Clara Benevides Machado, who began feeling unwell at the concert on Friday, and was later transfered to Hospital Salgado Filho where she died, according to a statement from the concert’s organizers, Time4Fun.

Swift shared her devastation to the news over the weekend in a somber tribute on her Instagram Stories. “I want to say now that I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends,” the singer wrote in part. “This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil.”
