The end is near for The Leftovers, and its latest trailer knows it.

Set to ABBA's "S.O.S.," the HBO drama spliced its footage in seven pieces and sent fans on an online scavenger hunt to gather all of them on social media accounts for the show, creator Damon Lindelof, and stars Justin Theroux, Liv Tyler, Amy Brenneman, and Carrie Coon. (Hey, it's better than making them watch ice melt for an hour.)

The new clips are, as always, intriguing and thoroughly confusing: Having survived a bullet to the chest along with poison in season 2, Kevin Garvey (Theroux) appears to have become a Jesus-like figure to pious people like Matt Jamison (Christopher Eccleston). Though he rejects the notion, he'll subject himself to a baptism of some sort. As his father (Scott Glenn) insists, "You are the only man alive who can make it stop."

Make what stop? Judging by the clips of chaos and destruction, the end of the world itself. Doomsday is due to arrive on the seventh anniversary — oh, so that's why this trailer's split in seven parts — of the Sudden Departure, and while some, like Jill (Margaret Qualley), react to this with wry humor, others, like Nora (Carrie Coon), simply want the grief to end. "I think I'm going crazy," she says. "How are you not going crazy?"

EW found all seven pieces of the trailer and gathered them in order below:

For those who'd rather watch the entire trailer in one sitting, HBO released has released it in full:
