Usher teaches James Corden how to dance in 'Carpool Karaoke'

The pair also sang 'Yeah,' 'Let It Burn,' 'Caught Up,' and more Usher classics.

Usher‘s got the moves. James Corden doesn’t, but Usher does. So, the “Caught Up” and “Let It Burn” singer carved out some time during his “Carpool Karaoke” segment to teach The Late Late Show host how to pop bottles in the club and lose the showtune-y “fosse” hands to his swag strut.

The key, Corden learned, is to look like you’re pushing water out of the way when you walk. “Oh yeah, this I’ve got. This is me in the club,” the late-night host said after learning a few dance moves. “Guys, let’s pop some bottles! Do you want to pop some bottles?”

Usher took a drive through his archive of hits, including “Yeah” and “OMG,” as well as getting Corden to wrap his head around the lyrics to “I Don’t.” With the line, “I’m proud to call you my b—-h,” the host laughed, “It doesn’t feel like it’s quite as respectful as you’re trying to let me know that it is.”

The pair also helped a few gents with car trouble and arrived at the Hollywood Walk of Fame to polish Usher’s star. Corden posted their star selfie on Instagram on Tuesday as a tease for the episode. “Are we dropping a new #CarpoolKaraoke tonight? YEAH YEAH YEAH,” the caption read.
