Grown-ish, the forthcoming Black-ish spin-off, has cast two more of Zoey’s (Yara Shahidi) college classmates.

Francia Raisa (The Secret Life of the American Teenager) and Jordan Buhat (Summer of ’84) have joined as series regulars along with Beyoncé-approved singing duo Chloe x Halle (Chloe Bailey and Halle Bailey), who will also recur in the Freeform comedy’s first season.

Executive-produced by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, Grown-ish follows Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Rainbow’s (Tracee Ellis Ross) daughter Zoey as she heads off to college at Southern California University. The series promises to offer “a contemporary take on the issues facing both students and administrators,” according to the network.

Raisa will play Ana, “an outspoken conservative freshman” at the school, and Buhat will portray Vivek, a first generation Indian-American freshman who has “an endearing lack of self-awareness.” Chloe and Halle will recur as twin sisters Sky and Jazz, members of the college’s track team. They join Zoey’s previously announced classmates: freshman know-it-all Miriam (Emily Arlook) and the socially conscious Aaron (Trevor Jackson).

Also starring Chris Parnell and Deon Cole, Grown-ish is executive-produced by Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland, and Brian Dobbins.

The 13-episode first season will begin production next week and debut in early 2018 on Freeform. Black-ish returns to ABC on Oct. 3.
