Watch The Bold Type cast fangirl over RuPaul's Drag Race star Sasha Velour's set visit

With two episodes under its belt, The Bold Type season 3 is off to a great start. Jane (Katie Stevens) made her decision and started a relationship with Pinstripe (Dan Jeannotte). Sutton (Meghann Fahy) chose to move in with Richard (Sam Page). And Kat (Aisha Dee) has started getting more involved in politics and bettering her community.

But character journeys aside, the show has also been bringing its A-game when it comes to guest stars. Not only did the season 3 premiere feature a performance from Betty Who, but episode 2 saw Jacqueline Carlyle (Melora Hardin) bring a fabulous guest to Kat’s fundraiser when she showed up with RuPaul Drag Race’s Sasha Velour on her arm, a moment that was possibly more exciting for The Bold Type cast than their characters.

“We have a thing where we watch Drag Race and then come to set and talk about it,” Stevens tells EW, with Dee adding, “Drag Race actually got me through a very difficult personal time in my life where I was really struggling to shut down my anxiety at the end of the night.”
