Now that we've seen what happened with Rue in Euphoria, it's time to check in with Jules.

HBO has set an official premiere date for the second special from its Emmy-winning drama series. The episode, titled "F--- Anyone Who's Not A Sea Blob," will debut on HBO Sunday, Jan. 24 at 9 p.m. ET with a story focused on Hunter Schafer's Jules as she reflects on the past year over Christmas break.

Schafer herself co-executive produces and co-writes the upcoming special with Euphoria series creator Sam Levinson, who directs the episode.

Last time we saw the character was when she skipped town on a train, leaving Rue behind at the station. It's a decision Schafer said made her mad at the character. "You don't leave your friend-slash-lover alone in a train station at 1 a.m." the actress told EW. "At the same time, she's 17 and has been through this crazy shit and she needs to get out. I know where that all is coming from. She felt really stuck and Nate [Jacob Elordi] has been manipulating her and forcing her literally to do crime. And then Rue was sort of suffocating her. It was all too much."

"Part 2: Jules" is the second of two specials Levinson developed to help hold fans over for season 2, which faced production delays caused by the pandemic. "Part 1: Rue," featuring Emmy-winner Zendaya as Rue and Colman Domingo as Rue's sponsor Ali, aired this past Sunday on HBO and received an early streaming premiere on HBO Max.

In an interview with EW, Domingo said the first special "just landed in my hands, at a time, I think, I needed it. We all needed it."
