It delights me to pair the Fine Art America printed-on-wood reproduction of "Palo Verde Sunset" [top] with an original by Allegri, "Liquid Gold" which I recently purchased from her online gallery! The Fine Art America reproduction holds its own in tandem with the original. In fact at least one visitor thought "Palo Verde Sunset" was also an original, painted on wood.

I get to look at this piece everyday on my kitchen windowsill. The affect of this print is subdued with neutral tones. Very well constructed. I’m very happy with it.

Love this replica of the sign from the Salty Dog Cafe! matches perfectly on my screened in porch .. paired with the Salty Dog Beer Bucket that I purchased from them! Perfect size, came very quickly and arrived in pefect condition!

The print on wood was very dull/muted unfortunately. I'm not sure if the original art was the same. The wood and hardware seem high quality however.

About Chris Miles
After graduating from the University of Utah with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, Chris moved to New York and worked as an illustrator for magazines, book covers and children's books, working for The New York Times, Random House, Harper Collins and other companies. In 2000 he moved back West, shifted his focus to fine art painting, and has since developed his current style which he calls Magical Realism. "My ideas mostly come from sitting down with my sketchbook and drawing from my imagination, which is nourished by nature, reading, and looking at the works of old master and contemporary artists.” Chris includes symbols and themes that have meaning for him, and he encourages viewers can interpret these in their own personal way.
