ARTIST Graphics was a high end computer graphics company. Founded in 1979 by Horace and Robert Beale. In 1982 they released Artist 1, a video card supporting a resolution of 1024x768, a major feat for the era.


1982 - ARTIST 1 XGA 1024x768 Resolution support.

1995 - ARTIST XJ1000 3D Hardware acceleration.
