Cuckservative: How "Conservatives" Betrayed America is a non-fiction political book by Vox Day and John Red Eagle originally published in December 2015 by Castalia House. It describes the social and cultural changes wrought in the USA and to a lesser extent the West by mass immigration from non-Western societies, and how this process was supported by "mainstream" Republicans and conservatives. The book includes a foreword by Mike Cernovich. It became a #1 bestseller on Amazon in the Politics category.

Theme

The book describes the demographic effects and social aftermath of the 1965 US immigration reforms, which the two part-Native-American authors describe as a betrayal by its leaders.

The resulting mass migration of peoples, "twice the size of the great wave of immigration into the USA between 1870 and 1930" has led to Americans "being displaced in their own land by an ongoing invasion that dwarfs Operation Barbarossa, is two orders of magnitude larger than the Mongol hordes, and is one thousand times larger than the First Crusade."^[1]

The book criticizes America's mainstream conservative leaders and media, who are said to have converged with liberal internationalists in facilitating this demographic change, relying on misunderstood or flawed versions of theology, economics, and history to falsely claim that immigration is morally and economically necessary. These "cuckservatives" have unwittingly betrayed their posterity to gain social approval. The book opposes their positions, depicting them as craven and weak, and says their harmful efforts need to be reversed.

The authors warn Americans that "if they do not defend their culture, their posterity, and their nation, they will eventually find themselves on their own Trail of Tears." They predict this could lead to widespread decline, civil unrest, or even civil war.

Reception

The book was widely cited on online blogs, and helped popularize the widespread use of the word cuckservative among the Alt-right and elsewhere.^[2] It was popular among supporters of Donald Trump's presidential campaign who wished to limit legal immigration into the USA, and deport many illegal immigrants. The book was criticized by some liberal reviewers as xenophobic.^[3][4]
