This website (museums.calderdale.gov.uk) is run by Calderdale MBC. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts
- zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate all of the website using just a keyboard
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

Our current level of accessibility
We believe this website is fully accessible in accordance with the United Kingdom accessibility regulation. This website was last assessed on 22nd August 2019; the outcome of this assessment was identifying several pages and features that were partially inaccessible. In light of this we undertook an intensive period of remedial work to update the website in line with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
As of 1st September 2019 our website has a SiteImprove accessibility score of 98/100.
