Justin the customer service…

Justin the customer service representative was very negotiable. He explained everything so my son and I will have a full understanding of the plan we was signing up for. My son and I both signed up for the plan. I have been in several home warranty plans in the pass and I was very displeased with the service. Your service sounds like we will get Quality service. We're looking forward to experiencing the plan. Thank you Justin.

Crappy Service-Almost like a Scam

Too hard to get straight forward answers from reps. One was rude and pushy. I have other home warranty with cinch and they charged me a $100 deductible and then two hours later called back to say they could not find a vendor to service a simple item in a city with 300,000 people.

I was told to find my own vendor and to send them the receipts to see if they would approve reimbursing me. WOW!!

Take my warranty fee each month, take my $100 deductible, and then tell me to do your job?!?! I found 3 vendors available in under an hour and all three would be able to get the service call done within 2 business days. Cinch is a ripoff.

I’ll be filing a complaint with the state insurance commissioners office for bad faith. Call anyone else, but not Cinch:

Don’t use Cinch Home warranty

First service provider they sent out didn’t bring any tools to check my a/c then said he only does visual inspections but does not go in attics. I Called in and they gave me the option of refund of my deductible or set an appointment for a different provider to come out. I also verified that my ducts were coverd because there was a leak. Took off work a second time to have the 2 provider also show up with no tools. Lent him my ladder to check the ducts in the attic. He poked his head in the attic stated that he could feel the cold air. He then pull out his phone and took pictures of the first vent 10 feet away while never entering the attic or leaving the ladder. He said he was gonna write a report and send it in. A day later I received a voicemail stating that my claim was declined because the provider found NO mechanical damage or leaks….. I returned the call and asked how were no mechanical damages found if the provider ran no test and had no tools. They called the provider then stated there was no access to the ducts. I told them we had an attic. They then came back and said there were rodents….. I then asked to escalate the call and let them know that I would be recording the rest of the conversation and was promptly hung up on. After waiting on hold for another hour the call was escalated and were repeated the same lines over and over. I then decided to cut my loses and just get my refund since the provider didn’t do a job and was told that it was to late to receive a refund. This is my fist claim and it just so happens that it is the last month of my year contract. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT USING CINCH HOME SERVICES DONT. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WONT DO THE WORK. They also ask you to give them a positive review when you first sign up so do be fooled by some of these good reviews. Go search them on fb before you sign up

Easy to sign up

Easy to sign up, they didn't trick you into giving them all your information just to tell you at the end you have to speak to a representative on the phone. NICE!

Filed a claim and paid $200 deductible…

Filed a claim and paid $200 deductible immediately. HVAC service provider scheduled two and a half weeks out (in July), and then rescheduled for September. Called Cinch, and they assigned a new HVAC service provider to start from beginning again. This feels like a scam with now paying $800+ in total (annual + deductible) and no service almost three weeks later. If you are thinking about Cinch, don’t do it…

I was on the phone with agents for 2 1/2 hours

I was on the phone with an several agents about taking me new credit card # for 2 1/2 hours. 1 agent was writing it down incorrectly, 4 times, she kept asking me to repeat it. I was very aggravated for ny first cksim, very inefficient.

Second AC unit that has to be repaired

Second AC unit that has to be repaired. It's now July 15th, I started this process in Early April! The first person they sent out twice did not fix the problem. and charged me $400 to fill up the refrigerant (again, not the actual problem). This was the second time they came out. I call almost every few days to get this to move forward. It's the most frustrating experience as the first company that came out would not even call me back so they reassigned it to another service provider who told me that the whole unit has to be replaced for $4000. You can't ever talk to anyone who has any problem solving skills or really understand that I am trying to move the process forward. I can't believe the 5 star reviews are real.

I spoke with Justin Adcox, pertaining to the home warranty purchase & he's the reason, with his kindness and professionalism, is what made the experience great!!!
Note - I've been with 2 other home warranties in the 20 years I've owned my home. American Home Shield for the first10 yrs. Choice I've had for the last 10 years, whom I haven't been happy with. I was introduced to you by my son and his wife who have 2 policies for their 2 homes & seem to be very happy with Cinch. For me that will remain to be seen, as time goes on.
