Chris Hemsworth Shares Close Encounter with Huge Spider and Jokes ‘Didn’t Even Scare Me’

Chris Hemsworth is getting up close and personal with a creepy crawly!

On Thursday, June 27, the Australian actor, 40, shared a video of himself outside coming across a large spider in its web.

“Look at that,” Hemsworth whispered as he moved the camera towards the arachnid.

The spider then startled theThor star as it rapidly moved before going back to its former position on the web.

“Jesus,” Hemsworth said as he laughed and captured the spider on camera again.

“Didn’t even scare me 🤥,” Hemsworth joked in his caption as someone commented, “How did you not run away screaming. Maybe that’s what I would have done.”

“Showed my daughter and she said mum it's Thor he's not afraid of anythin,” another added.

Earlier this month, the star reunited with his character’s hammer at Universal Studios while on a family vacation. 

Sharing a video on Instagram, Hemsworth looked at a signed replica of Thor’s hammer, which was positioned inside a glass case.

“Celebrity Authentics,” a sign read, leading Hemsworth to joke, "I don’t remember signing that."

"Go ask for it back. If you’re really Thor, go get it then,” a person recording the video told the actor. "Go on, lift it up."

One of Hemsworth’s children then asked, "Is that a copyright signature?"

"Didn’t want to scare the kids but I could’ve definitely called Mjolnir if I wanted to…" the Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star wrote in his caption. 

Hemsworth first played the role of Thor in the 2011 movie Thor. He then reprised the character in several movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including The Avengers franchise, Doctor Strange, and Thor: Love and Thunder.
