Well-Balanced Bear Family Impresses Onlookers by Parading Along Fence of Colorado Home

In the video, the mama bear leads as her two cubs follow closely behind

A mama bear and her cubs were spotted expertly balancing on a fence between homes in Boulder, Colorado.

According to 9News, a resident in the Frasier Meadows neighborhood of Boulder was so impressed by the furry family strolling along her fence that she decided to film the animals from a safe distance.

In the video, the mama bear leads her two little cubs as they trot along the thin wooden fence. Although the bears, including the cubs, are relatively large, they stay atop the fence like agile cats — until one cub slips down behind the fence out of view.

In the clip, the baby bear appears to fall into the neighboring garden, though the fence blocks the view of what happens. The mother bear and the other cub look down to check on the other little bear and continue walking along.

The new bear story comes after a mama bear and her cubs were found swimming in the pool of a California home.

Back in May, a Monrovia couple, Rick Martinez and Brian Gordon filmed a mama bear and her cubs walking into their garden on May 6 and posted about the encounter on social media.

The couple watched the mother bear step into their pool to swim while her two cubs sat and watched her from a safe distance away from the water.

"We tend to get lots of wildlife crossing through here," Ricky Martinez told local affiliate NBC LA. "We are always left in awe when we see the bears, especially a momma bear with cubs. We haven't seen cubs that little before, and it was the cutest thing ever."

Meanwhile, May also saw a group of elk in Evergreen, Colorado, entering someone's backyard and joining in on a game of soccer.

Two brothers had been playing soccer when an elk received the red ball and, after inspecting it, kicked it back lightly.
