Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown to Perform at the Inaugural People's Choice Country Awards

The award show will air live on Thursday, Sept. 28 on NBC and Peacock

The People's Choice Country Awards are shaping up to be jam-packed with performances by your favorite country stars!

On Thursday, NBC and Peacock announced the star-studded performance lineup for the upcoming award show, airing live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

Blake Shelton, Carly PearceDan + Shay and HARDY will take the stage to perform some of their biggest hits during the show.

Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Toby Keith and Wynonna Judd will also be performing.

The nominees for the award show — which is an offshoot of the People's Choice Awards — was announced in August. There are 12 award categories total.

Country superstars Lainey WilsonLuke Combs and Morgan Wallen dominate the categories. Brown and Jelly Roll also have a substantial number of nods with six each.

Up for the biggest award of the night, People's artist of 2023, is Shelton, Brown, Ballerini, Wilson, Combs, Wallen, Old Dominion and Zach Bryan.

Throughout the evening, there will be several honorary awards presented, including the Country Music Icon Award, which will be presented to Keith by Shelton. More honorary award recipients, performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
