Popeyes Has Free Boneless Wings for 2 Weeks to Celebrate the New Permanent Menu Item

Popeyes is celebrating the latest permanent addition to the menu with freebies.

The chicken chain is adding boneless chicken wings to its lineup on June 25 in six different flavors. Now customers can score a six-piece of the new wings for free with any $10 purchase when ordering through the app or online until July 14,

The wings, made with all-white meat chicken breast, are breaded and fried before being coated in one of the six sauces: classic, honey lemon pepper, signature hot, honey BBQ, sweet n’ spicy and roasted garlic parmesan. All flavors are available as part of the deal.

Crazy Rich Asians star and former boneless wing skeptic Jimmy O. Yang is helping the fast food restaurant reveal the new permanent menu item with comedic commercials. The 15- and 30-second spots focus on converting other chicken lovers to jump aboard the boneless wing train.

Wendy’s, which also has its own saucy nuggets, has recently revealed a freebie too. On June 20, the chain announced it's making the Biggie Bag deal larger with a free Frosty.

The Biggie Bag normally includes a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger or Crispy Chicken Sandwich, four-piece nuggets, Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries and a small soft drink. But when ordering the meal deal on the Wendy’s app through June 30, customers can score a free Frosty.

There's a choice of the classic chocolate Frosty or their new summertime flavor, Triple Berry, which comes packed with strawberry, blackberry and raspberry flavorings.

Wendy's stepped up its Biggie Bag just hours after McDonald’s announced its own $5 deal.

McDonald's $5 Meal Deal includes the customer’s choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich with small fries, four-piece chicken McNuggets and a soft drink. The deal is available as of June 25.
