Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei and his fiancée Anisha Isa Kalebic are preparing to tie the knot in a lavish royal wedding next week.

On New Year's Eve, the 32-year-old son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah shared the first portrait of the couple, just days before their 10-day wedding event.

"Wishing you all the best for 2024 💫," Mateen captioned the photo, which shows the couple standing side-by-side on what appears to be a balcony. Mateen cuts a dashing figure in a blue suit, while Anisha smiles beside him in a chic cream pantsuit. She also crosses her hands in front of her, showing off a large diamond engagement ring.

Prince Mateen is the Sultan's fourth son and 10th child and often accompanies his father on official royal engagements. He attended King Charles and Queen Camilla's coronation last May and also joined his father at Queen Elizabeth's funeral in Sept. 2022.

Prince William and Kate Middleton may be in attendance at Mateen's wedding as the Sultan was a guest at the British royal couple's wedding in 2011.
