6 episodes

In the early morning hours of November 2, 2007, Justin Gaines walked out of a popular nightclub on the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia and was never seen again. The investigation into Gaines' disappearance quickly went cold and remained so until 2015, when a man confessed to taking part in his murder. Though this detailed confession described what happened to Justin Gaines, who was involved, and where his body was placed, no arrest has ever been made. Host Sean Kipe digs into this story to find out what really happened to Justin Gaines and tries to make sense of the still ongoing investigation. But as Sean gets deeper, he finds himself in an underworld of drugs, money, and murder.

Hometown Hero

I went to Brookwood with Justin and have wondered why this case didn’t have a big podcast for years. I’m glad you are honoring the life he has lived. It’s truly tragic the number of lives the opioid epidemic has taken from our generation due to too much money and not enough sense. Chris’ mom is a judge in Gwinnett so it would be amazing to get her perspective.

So good, a must listen for true crime fans

This is an excellent podcast. I’m very intrigued, waiting to hear the next twist and turn. I hope the truth is proven in the end, until then I’m all ears! Thank you for all of your hard work.

Let’s get some diversity in here!

Don’t mean to be insensitive.. every family deserves to find their loved one. Sound and production of the podcast is solid…BUT do we really need ANOTHER podcast about a missing white man?!?
