A weekly current affairs podcast featuring the editors & leadership of The American Conservative. The members of the TAC staff discuss the news of the day from a decidedly TAC perspective: one that is suspicious of big business as well as big government, and localist rather than globalist.

Love the baby noises!
This is one of my favorite podcasts. I'm a ups man so I listen to podcasts all day long. I love your varied takes on current events. Your opinions give me confidence that I'm correctly evaluating the news of our time. But the baby noises are my favorite. The young mommy does a great job of staying locked in focus. As a father of 4 and grandfather of 5 I love children and they are the reason we pay attention to all this stuff. Carry on young mother! You demonstrate the exceptionalism in American exceptionalism!!!!
Never miss it!
So glad the pod is back. Any chance you could do more episodes per week? Or an interview with a print author that would entice more subscribers or just educate the uninformed? I know you all work hard and I’m grateful for this show in its current format. The baby background noises are a joy to hear as well.
Ditch the intern
Or coach her to stop saying “like” every other word when she speaks. A real downer for a podcast I never used to miss.
