No point in following
This is a solid podcast, but I feel the need to unfollow it. Any time a new episode comes out, the 3 other NYT podcasts in my rotation always air it in leu of putting out their own show and I find myself listening to it 2-3 times in a row..
NYT is cannibalizing its own audience
Get new hosts
The shallow questions and lack of research on the guests is cringeworthy. Deeply disappointed especially since I’m very interested in what the guests have to say.

Initial interview: the guest records pristine audio from a studio with a mug of tea in front of them and a candle burning in the background.
Follow-up interview: the guest is on speakerphone as they circle the Costco parking lot trying to find a space.
